On 29 de octubre de 2018, Fluke Networks will introduce the OptiFiber® Pro High Dynamic Range (HDR) Optical Time Domain Reflectometer, the first OTDR that fulfills contractors’, installers’ and network owners’ demands for a single solution to deal with applications ranging from FTTx, PON and datacenters to category-rated structured cabling. El OTDR OptiFiber Pro está diseñado para atender la creciente necesidad de un OTDR capaz de realizar comprobaciones y documentar aplicaciones de HDR y admitir los servicios de larga distancia y de retorno o backhaul en planta exterior (OSP), las redes entre pares (P2P), la red óptica pasiva (PON) y las instalaciones de fibra hasta el edificio (FTTP). Tres nuevos módulos monomodo se encargan de los 1490 nm, los 1625 nm y 1310/1550 nm combinados con un rango dinámico de hasta 42 dB, lo que permite a los usuarios encontrar más fallos a mayores distancias.
